The Andrew Giving Fund was created to honor the legacy of a little guy who lived a short, but BIG life - Andrew James Ulrich. An aggressive blood disease entered his body at the young age of 18 months and he died within a week. While his family and friends were left devastated by the sudden loss, his sweet little spirit made it very clear that he wasn't done bringing happiness.

Andrew absolutely loved everything about PLAY - bouncing a ball, chasing his sisters, swinging a golf club, and exploring outdoors.  He got to watch his sisters play softball and soccer, the same activities that provided them a positive outlet after he died.  We saw all the positives that organized sports were bringing to the lives of our kids, yet recognized that not every child had the same opportunity. Whether it was the cost of participating, lack of transportation, or simply the right shoes - we knew that with our network of amazing family and friends, we could meet some of these needs.  

 

The Andrew Giving Fund is paying his life forward by creating opportunities and providing resources to give every child a chance to PLAY!
